The piece I created was a teenager juggling everyday activities and responsibilities of a high school student. The piece is supposed to convey a thought of how being a student athlete is a difficult task to juggle.
The message I want for adults to see is that a kids life is not always easy, it contains many responsibilities and high expectations. I call my piece the "Streggler". This is a combination of the words "stress" and "juggler". I used acrylic paint for my project because I believed that the necessity for colorfulness was easier to achieve because of the ability to combine colors and create tertiary colors.
The Streggler may not be the most beautiful artwork people have seen, but it should convey a thought of sympathy towards the targeted audience of adults. The lives of high school students are not easy and shouldn't be looked at as the "easy stage" of life.
